Of all the things which I can count as mine,
My friends, you are the tops - the white summits!
Without you, I would have less cause to shine.
Waging war, I feel like I have won it,
Thanks to you! The battles of causes come,
Fought against the darkness of the spirit
Of malice. I keep rising, like the sun.
The ideal is far off, but I near it
Thanks to you, my friends! Your generous cheers
Keep my spirit chivalrous and aimed high.
I keep on giving to that which endears.
How endearing you are! I nearly cry!
Without your spirit, my friends, I would be
Too weak to work the magic, gratefully!
