Lovely Heart, Lovely You!

There is this charm about how you can be.
They say that you lack conventional grace,
But the lady in you charms as clearly
As the first star! Convention has its place,
Defining how the commonplace must run,
But never have I bowed to Convention!
Like the sunflower turns toward the sun,
Enchanted solely by his ascension,
The wise ones turn toward you, they being
Spellbound by the charms of your subtle smile.
Is even Aphrodite worth seeing,
If the truth of her character is vile?
You are as lovely as the morning star,
If your lovely heart defines how you are.
