Not Perfect, But Purrrfect!

Did you just wake up to discover Abe
Facing rightward in place of to the left?
I bet you feel that things are not quite right,
Or maybe very wrong. The Twilight Zone
Rarely is the place where we feel at home.
You are hoping that it is a penny
Heads up for luck, in a world of plenty,
More than in the parallel universe
Which you have left behind. Your world and ours,
As far as change, are alike in seeming
To change all the time, yet, oddly enough,
Once time has passed, things are as fixed as rocks.
Perhaps we can resolve the paradox
By suggesting that some things never change.
We have Samhain too. Things are not that strange
With us after all! Cats live here as well!
With cats, is not every evening Samhain,
As they lick themselves again and again?
Magic works here also. There is no Hell
Where Isis heals Osiris with Her spells!
So, welcome to this world, if you love cats:
Though imperfect, life can go purrrfectly!
