The Night of the Green Sea

Age Group: Adult
At times the world is spinning
And I lose the sense of me.
Then once again I swim within
The phosphorescent sea
Of iridescent floating shapes
That linger and then flee.
And I become a spark of light
In a glowing, green sea.
A sea that wanders far behind
The channels of mere time.
Where echoes dwell within the swell
Of ancient Runic rhyme.
Power churns in flashing turns
Of mystic shimmering green.
Beneath the waves a madman raves
Of beauty he has seen.
And at the line where space and time
Sit idly playing chess,
I crash the borders of my mind
To claim it's loveliness.
