A Long Time Aged
by Midnight Poet
Age Group: Teen
Moon rises moon falls,
Sun rises sun sets,
Will my call never come,
Till next dawns weep?
Twilight then, a long time aged,
Before midnight comes we shall meet,
Under starlight for we shall see,
Cleanse me of this madness,
Save me of this stress,
Let me watch this moon rise
And then let me rest,
My mind is tired, my body aches,
My neck hurts from the pain,
Let my heart soar and my eyes glaze
before I continue this rampage through life.
Author's Notes: I wrote this a few years ago I can't really remember, I think I wrote It after a dream I had.
