You were so cruel and unforgiving
And you still are
Even when I try to be kind
Your eyes are closed
You call me weak
Evil a nothing
Say I have no strength
Call me cruel
But I see you cry and your tears are fake
I don’t cry but the pain is real
Then I realize
If I’m so weak
Then how can I face you
And still stand here with my faith
If you are the representative for your faith
Then I want nothing to do with your faith
Who would want to be involved
With a faith that teaches hate and cruelty
You tell me I could not walk on the tip of a knife
But I do with you
I chose the road untaken
As a famous poet said
And I am happy with my choice
And If I had another chance to live
I’d choose it again
Even knowing what I know now
Because I just want love from the world
Not people like you.
