A love so passionate and yet forbiden by you

The sun peaks through my window, time to get up he says,
I rise and try to shake the tear marks off my face,
I try to hide the passionate dream of you and I.
I change my clothes, hoping that you like them.
I put on my makeup to make you happy,
Then my teeth are brushed and I put on the smile, in hopes you can’t see.
I sit and talk to my other friends, but all the while,
I am waiting to see you’re beautiful face.
You walk in and my heart leaps so high, I think you can see it pop from my chest.
But you go you’re on way, you sit with you’re friends,
I thought I was you’re friend too?
But I guess you do have a reputation to protect.
I go the whole day trying to survive not seeing you,
I feel my heart aching so much, longing to see you,
But I know you have her to see.
I see you smile and my heart leaps,
I hear you’re voice and I’m lost in another place,
Then I see you hold her and my heart bleeds a little.
I write to you and you write back,
Intimate conversations with no one to interrupt us,
And yet I know it can’t be.
I love you so, but I know you don’t love me,
But I will fight till the death for you,
And wait till you learn to love me.
