The Servants

by Stewart Bitkoff
 Age Group: Adult

Q: Who are the servants of God? What is their function?
The servants of God are those individuals who have completed the spiritual journey and through grace are able to serve the Divine Will. Within this number, there are different functions.
According to tradition, these servants are organized into a hierarchy. Like a modern corporation there are departments or sections. Some of these functions include: reflecting the Light into the physical world; assuring the Plan for humanity; and teacher ship. This spiritual structure has existed since the beginning and the great religious teachers, according to tradition, are part of this organization and effort.
Like the tip of an iceberg, only a small portion of this work is visible. Without these hidden servants, the physical world, as we know it, would not exist.
THE SERVANTS
Traveler: Who are the Servants?
Master: They are those who seek God's service and those whom God Selects. Many are those who journey to God's Court, but only those God Chooses enter within.
Some were prophets, some were mothers, some were saints, and some like you and I.
Each town and city have those whom God Selects. They are the greatest resource.
Traveler: What must one do to enlist in God's Service?
Master: In the hearts of those God chooses there is a burning to be with God. God Has Kissed their souls and has Imprinted His Name on their hearts.
One day, because of a deed, or prayer, God Reveals His Face. Then, the work begins and they strive to be accepted as a servant in God's Court.
Traveler: Will I be accepted?
Master: Each person has their own destiny and serves the Creator's Purpose in a special way.
If you seek God's Court, then, pray and ask for God's Blessing. Once you have started the journey toward God, you can only gain.
