In the Darkness

Age Group: Adult
Sitting here gazing at the sky
the agony takes over my breast.
I just need to know why
why now when I'm trying my best?
Eyes swell full, puddles of tears
my body collapses to the ground.
Looking back at all the years
I wonder if an exit can be found.
The cold metal feels good upon me
could this be the answer I want?
I'd be invisable for none to see
no longer here for people to taunt.
I watch as the life drains from me
will the pain ever be ended?
If only the future I could foresee
to see if my heart will be mended.
The struggle is to hard.
The darkness is to dark.
My heart is to marred.
Upon this world I leave my mark.
Goodbye.
Author's Notes: Depression and PTSD arent they just lovely? This was a bad day. But survived through another one, thats all that matters. I like writing when I'm upset. Gives me a different "release". A more positive one.
