Fading

The light is fading, fading fast
And with it, all becomes the past
The future, present, now in time
Reverts to mystery, left behind
And with it all our wisdom goes
Caught within its dying throws
Never to be seen again
In the same light which once attend'
Power of the old path lost
Power in a new path sought
Heart, mind, and soul align'd
A new light grows within our time
