The center of confusion
Between Heaven and death
Plague and rebirth
Horned cherubs pound their drums
In fierce panic
A bit out of time
Help us forget
The soft beat of regret
Suicide song
Perfect laughter pours from their lips
Free of worry or fear
Clouds burst into tears
Mountains scream to all below
Covering everything in snow
Spirits climb into the trees
Whistling shadow dance
A roman mosaic
Of glass and stone
All roads leading in
Are covered with bones
The legions are at rest
Old gods cackle
For each of our dead
Led down this path
To a cemetery of beds
