The Dream Catcher

Staring at my hands
Mentaly going over my plans
Am I awake
Or am I dreaming
Am I able to learn
And in turn
Teach my knowledge to the world?
I don't know.
Shall we ever know?
Or would knowing ruin the show?
I hear your voice
As you speak soft and low
Of things that I once could see
That few still believe in
Am I dieing
Or is someone lieing
To me and the seaI that keeps my eyes
Turned up to the fadeing sky
A rocket ship screaching past
I wish I could make the wonderful moments in my life last
For years and years
I want to elminate my tears
From any existants
I want to breathe the air of the trees
Smell the scent of wise old pine
I wonder if I could comprehend
The meaning of time
Maybe I should just let the stars shine
The Northern Light like to climb
High above the montain tops I have never seen
Except once in this dream
Where I sat writing a poem
I sat in my bed
And with each word
A picture would form
Reviling Mother Natures little secrets
In the most crystal clear way
And to this day
I can say
I love the light of Mother Moon
But she leaves me all too soon
Good bye my light
Untill you rise again to night
