Dark Night of Soul

The dark night of my soul needs to bleed out the secrets that should never have been hidden...
Air of mystery, secrets withheld,
the meaning draws out the light.
The never ending day, no longer,
Forever an endless night.
My expressions are forced and fake,
Questioning my path, am I still pure?
My lips are sealed against my wishes,
My eyes scream the obscure.
That which is hidden deep cuts
A constant internal bleed.
The Dark Night of My Soul
Waiting to be freed
I will unleash the blade
Ready for the secrets to bleed out
Is the world ready?
Is my family ready?
Are you ready?
...
Am I?

Author's Notes: I wrote this when I was unbalanced within myself: Me against my shadow self.
Had to balance out! :)
