My Gods and Goddesses
by November Rainne
Age Group: Teen
They take offense,
They huff and shout.
They make you doubt.
"God!? God!?
Jesus Christ!?
Has he come back be for my eyes?"
They yell at you for saying their names in vein.
But you politely look at them and say:
"Sir or madam I mean not to be rude,
but my gods and goddesses aren't going to think I'm crude."
"I love and respect them with all my heart.
I say their name in awe.
As they say love is the law."
Author's Notes: I hate when some one tells me not to say "God" because it's sayin it in "vein" but why would our gods and goddesses care if we speak their names? Really?
