An Affirmation of How Love Should Be

Age Group: Adult
It's still a wonder that I've found you
A man whose lips speak to every part of my being
Short, feather-soft hair laying on my cheek
As your strong hand holds mine
You lay on top of me,
My body bare, nothing to block the rays
of passion, pure emotion
Speak to my very soul
Set it free, open this dark cage
Your bristly face, soft yet manly, brushes my breast
The very image of the God I see before me.
I, your Lady, calling your name, softly.
Those petal-like lips press on mine
sending shivers down my spine
And opening up my body even more.
Don't ever let me go,
I want to feel your skin on mine
Until I can't feel anymore
I want to hear your deep, loving words
Until my ears crumble into dust
I want to see your smiling face
Until I grow blind with age
These desires envelop my soul within this night
Satisfied yet unfulfilled
May our lives become one in the eyes of the Lord and Lady.
