My Life

You know it’s funny
We’ve never met
But when I think of you
There’s this feeling that I get
It’s as if we’ve been together
Years and lives before
And that we’ll be one again
Just like true love of yore
And at the same time
Of knowing this
I am resigned to my fate
Of only being a “Miss”
I won’t pine away my life
But live it for happiness
‘Cause it may not be now
That we’ll share our kiss
One day I’ll see you
My prince in shining armor
In some lifetime
You’ll defend my honor
But until then
I’ll wait for you
Going about my life
‘Till my wish comes true
Author's Notes: Okay, yes, it's true, I have this "fascination" with someone I've never met or even seen. That there is this guy out there made especially for me.
