Parting Mists

For but a moment,
I lie on the floor.
Then faint tendrils tickle my mind.
I feel the power,
Building in strength within.
It pulls me beyond the visible,
Around the now,
To the lost halls of my spirit.
Down the stairs I lightly step,
Floating through the vaporous cloud.
Down to a hall
I have not seen for years,
Or for lives.
The door opens at my touch.
I peak around and see
All the spaces,
Endless in time and place,
Where rest bits of myself
From days long gone,
From bodies now dust,
From lives of long ago.
Quest this hall.
Find yourself.
Learn who you are
And who you were.
For each, the hall is different.
But for each, the lessons are important.
Seek self,
And find the now.

Author's Notes: This is one that I have recently lived but I feel it goes with the spirituality because we have to know who and what we were in order to know what and who we are. I don't know how many people have attempted to regress to past lives, but you may finding it interesting. I myself have discovered why I hate going over large bridges or turbulent water because of it. Maybe it will help others to find out why they have some of their fears and worries. I know it can be frightening to explore what was and you will need to be careful when you do it (you don't want to go too deep or you will actually relive that life and its death) . Be safe, be well, find yourself and learn who you are! Blessed be!
