Somewhere

I know you are there,
Somewhere,
Since my heart has already
Given itself to you.
I simply do not know
Where you are or
How to find you.
Can you help me find
That missing part of me?
I don’t know where to go,
Or how long before I’ll see.
I know you are there,
Somewhere,
I can feel,
I can feel some thing,
But what it is I can’t say.
I know you can feel me, too.
But how to get to you,
I simply have no clue!
I know you are there,
Somewhere,
I can feel you there,
And I know you can, too.
But how to get to you?
How long before I’ll find,
My way to be beside you,
I simply have no clue!

Author's Notes: This is one of several more poems I found. When I wrote them, I’m not sure. Probably before I was taken out of that school in New Jersey where I almost lost my hold on this world. Possibly as reflections once I was out of there, remembering what happened to me there. I can’t remember and I didn’t date them. Some of them are pretty, some aren’t, some are obvious attempts to imitate some style I must have been either studying or interested in at the time. If you wish to comment, don’t hesitate to do so.
Ok, I'm a sap! This is another one I was trying to imitate some style. Can't remember what, but oh well... Yeah, by this point I guess everyone can guess I've been pretty lonely most of my life. This poem, it could stand for my twin whom I just found, or it could stand for my soul mate, whose face I've seen in dreams but have yet to meet in this world... I know he's nearby... Just haven't met yet. Could be either, could be both, I have no clue...
