Painful Unbalance

Does anyone else feel
The unbalance of this world?
Even the very stars
Show the twisting.
For Orion, Warrior of the Winter Sky,
Already he marches so high.
Once he rose later
In September or October.
But last year, he appeared
Early in September,
And now, he has risen,
In August, so soon.
I can feel it.
See it.
It abounds about us all.
Something is out of whack.
This thing needs to be fixed.
I wish I knew what it was,
So that I might patch it,
Or at least try.
But I don’t know.
And I must wait
Till that knowledge is given.
Oh how this messes with me.
My magick seems skewed.
My senses betrayed.
Sometimes I think I see one way
Then the next moment,
It twists about
Making sight and Sight,
Tricksy and confused.
Mayhap I’ll lose knowledge,
Of what is up and down,
Of what is right and wrong.
Though I hope it goes not that far,
I fear it may,
If this painful unbalance
Is not soon righted
And the world restored to its balance,
Its harmony and grace,
As once it knew.
I’m waiting for that day,
Hoping I shall see it.
May All the Powers that Be,
Guide it here soon,
So that all can be as it should be.

Author's Notes: It's really weird... It just feels like something is really wrong but I have no idea what... I want to help right whatever this wrong is... Mayhap someday I'll get the chance. Till then, I only hope we don't get thrown too much further away from what should be...
