The Inner Light

The Inner Light
Relax! Be at ease with yourself.
You are who you are, and
You need not be anything more,
Nor anything less.
Find the kind, the serene, and
The beautiful in this world by
Finding it first within you.
Your inner light will
Light all and everyone around you.
Seeing the light in the world
And within others is easy
When you can find it
Quietly burning within you.
Be of good cheer.
When you set the pace
You have nothing to fear.
Converse with, and honor the One
From whom all life flows,
And keep your inner light of love
Burning brightly so that you may
Know how to love others
In equal measure.
