Reality

Age Group: Adult
On a hill there stands a tree
Young is its roots, yet strong its bark, and proud it stands
Nature hath been kind to thee
Yet no longer is it held within her hands
alone, abandoned and without Gaea's gaze
the lonely tree of ideology sets ablaze
powerful was its desire
more so was the fire
Now it weeps, in pain and sorrow
wishing this world wasn't true
Reality seeps in through its marrow
A man is borne a new
Author's Notes: about a boy, becoming a man in the worlds harsh society.
after his mother dies he doesn't know what to do to survive, and is quickly eaten by the world around him, but he doesn't give up and doesn't become warped.
