My Prayer, My Lady

My Prayer, My Lady
Lady, my Lady, my treasure Divine
Grant me the vision to follow your lead
Guide me so gently, accepting what's mine
Letting love guide me by way of your rede
Give me your courage to do what is right
Help all my words and my actions be true
Let me be faithful by day and by night
Let me be humble and grateful to you
Teach me to share love as clouds share the rain
Spreading their blessings upon the dry land
Teach me to listen and comfort the pain
Smiling, and eager to stretch out my hand
Lady, my Lady, please give me good cheer
Strengthen my purpose to follow your way
Make me your mirror to scatter all fear
Helps me be steadfast for with me you'll stay
Softly the morning is blushing the sky
Sleepy but golden the rising new sun
Singing your praises like birds I will fly
Filling each moment with love for The One
Help me remember to live and let live
Gentle compassion toward eagle and dove
Nights full of passion I willingly give
Lady, my Lady, but always with love.

Author's Notes: There are many equally good reasons to follow a Pagan or Wiccan path. Mine is the very special relation which I have with My Lady. This prayer gives me a chance to let anyone see how I feel. Thanks for reading this. Blessed be!
