Magickal Passage

Magickal Passage
Do you believe in magick?
Do you believe in rainbows?
Do you believe in sunbeams
You see whenever rain goes?
Do you believe in one love
Which springs so everlasting?
The strength of one big oak tree
Renewed with life each spring?
The world is so unfeeling
Uncaring of the past
When time will be revealing
"Their love just did not last."
In moments you'll feel sorrow
The ways of crass neglect,
Then selfishness you borrow
With no room for regret.
The feelings must be lost then
When hearts are turned to stone
And though this life continues,
We choose to live alone!
"Release me, oh, I beg you!"
You hear your plaintive cry.
I'm drowning in my anguish,
"Oh please, just let me die!"
"For only with my magick
Past rainbows far above
Lives mine, the one I long for,
The one that I must love."
The winter season's past now
The ice will melt away
The warmth of joyful sunshine
Fills every brand new day
And so I ask you once more
As I have asked before:
"Can love reborn eternal
Be ours for evermore?"
