Moments i thought were lost.

The last time I heard you’re voice I marveled in the way that you sounded so calm and serine. The very last time I would hear your voice, I didn’t even know that it would be… I’ve shed many a tears for you because I love you… I know that you love me too. I’m unprepared for the journey that awaits me without you… But my heart, which feels like it’s missing, says that anything that happens now happens in your memory. Being as memorable as every moment that I have ever spent with you… you may no longer be able to say that you love me but my heart feels it all day of everyday. Now that you are free of sufferings I’m happy. However I still feel empty knowing that I cannot hug you one last time… I’ve gotten many letters that I cherish and hold close to my heart. Because nothing but memories will bring me comfort right now… You are my friend, family anyone I needed and whenever I needed you. I told you my book was full… I lied… you could teach me so many more things and my time with you feels shorter than it should have been… I am strong. I thank you for that quality… I also take pride in my name because without you it wouldn’t be Kaylin…
Author's Notes: I wrote this after I went through the hardest loss of a loved one. I have been afraid of saying just how much it hurt to lose him, for fear of looking weak. Through Wiccan belief, which I am very new to, I have found that expressing any feeling will only help. Not tear me apart.
