Of Dragons and Wolves

Age Group: Adult
Silver warrior of the night,
Magical king of flight,
These creatures once well known,
Now only etched in stone.
Stories told through centuries-
Handed down through families.
Perched upon his throne of jewels,
Deep inside his lair he rules.
Running free through the wood-
Not of evil, not of good.
Red-blue fire burning hot,
Smoldering carcass left to rot.
A voice through the night will sing.
Prey for tomorrow it shall bring.
The wind blows long and cold,
Many stories does it behold.
Stories of creature long ago,
Of these creatures you will never know.
