In All The Dark I Found My Light...

In life there are many,
Oft disguised as whom you are seeking,
Or mayhap what you are feeling,
Sometimes they rouse false emotions and thought,
And they catch you off guard and corner you,
Sending you reeling,
Such signs are signs that the person is not the one,
That is the one for you or someone else,
That everything there was betwix each one,
That is you and that person,
Is now over and done.
However when you have found that perfect somebody,
The one perfect for you in all ways,
Except maybe a few,
How they make you feel everyday when you see,
That is see their faces light up when they see you too,
That feeling of safety in extreme cases of fear,
You find it then that it truly is them,
Them that you want to hold dear,
For what maybe an eternity or longer.
Instilled in my heart was hate,
For everytime I searched I failed,
And the Pain I felt was even for me soon too great,
From every relationship out I quickly bailed.
But now I have found my light in my dark,
The person who loves me for me and I can hold her hand,
While we walk through malls and the park,
And not be afraid of my past or other events and memories coming to haunt me at night,
Because in all honesty after being with her and dining with her and dreaming of her,
I believe that she is the dream girl or Miss Right,
And it would be for her life and all things precious to her,
That I would fight,
FIght for her life and fight her fights.
