In my Palms Two Lives

Age Group: Adult
Away from this place to an island,
Away from humans and most animals alike,
Understanding only that what Inhumans can,
Understanding the balances of Peace and Strife,
Of Chaos and Utter Calm,
Of Death and the beginning of life,
That in all the dark of my soul that in my palms,
In one palm hold my former life associated with pain,
And in the other palm I hold my new life,
Inhuman and full of zest,
Full of emotion and freedom,
Filled to the brim with love and life I can attest,
Is this reality or a dream?
A place where my violent mind can rest?
Where my pitch dark soul can learn more,
More of what it truly craves and craves the best?
What it craves is a change of emotion and path,
Saved it from a fate of fighting a eternally hating society,
Fighting the misinformed ill minded after math,
Of floods of people full of hate,
Inhuman they have distaste for,
Yet my soul yearns to go back,
Back for violence time and time some more,
Will it ever be slaked?
NO!
I run from this future and abandon,
Abandon all my humanity and the society full of hate,
So I can find solace in my new future,
With the one I love to create,
Create emotions I rarely felt,
To take me on trips and many a date,
To which I my soul may still be dark,
But she accepts it just as it is in its black state.
Thank you for pulling me out of that misery,
And showing me what you felt,
Being next to me when I was sick and ill of mind,
For that time you sat and knelt beside me,
Thank you for being to me so kind.
