Broken.

My heart is broken,
pieces fallen,
is it really?
Love.. so many forms,
can't stop spinning,
blind my eyes and prick my lips.
Love is silent,
the touch is tender,
wild and lusty falls.
So mysterious,
never makes sense,
chasing perfection never to be.
Many times I come close,
another kiss, another embrace,
cold when that too is gone.
What is love really,
is there such a thing,
never tame, always wild.
Years go by of wondering,
keymaster to the gatekeeper,
levels upon levels of secrets.
Foolish girl am I,
stepping into the dark,
looking for that something.. just so.
Mayhaps it will cause me to fly,
to stumble and lose what sanity has granted me..
or will you catch me in your arms, and give me the strength to fly?
Never knowing what lies in the dark,
for you, maybe, but that s another day,
I will wait for mine.
So really..
these pieces of my heart..
they aren't broken.. or are they?
Author's Notes: Geeze.. sorry everybody. Whimsical streak here, but I do try my best. It seems my life has been revolving around one relationship after the next, and never seeming to be the real thing. And now.. on the brink of something newer, something that has yet to be discovered.. I've stopped to think a bit. Ignorance is truely a curse.. but a fun one.
