Seen?

Age Group: Adult
What the world sees,
Often is what I am,
And this often does not please.
Conform?
Repurpose?
If I do not I earn endless scorn.
I will not be forlorn,
because in the end I will still be me,
Wise and all the better to be free.
I will be seen and heard,
My mind and mouth uttering the same wise word,
It may be considered a little undesired,
Undesired to stay up this late,
But with messy thoughts and restless nights,
Come words endless as a river,
Smooth and flowing,
Ever wise and in length growing.
I am wise and keen,
I am merry and semi clean.
To be happy all I need,
Is Wine and song,
Clothe, Shelter and seed.
In the end,
I refuse to change my ways,
I will be who I am til the end,
End of my indigo days.
