Faeries dance.

Age Group: Teen
Dancing in a meadow,
on a full moon night.
I see colored orbs around me,
letting off dim light.
In a circle they sing, dance, and flutter,
then say they want to show me their mother.
They chant dance and chant some more,
when I see a door that was not there before.
It took me to the faery's realm,
I see their mother sitting under an elm.
We sing and dance and laugh all night,
then the door comes back into my sight.
In my heart I know it's time to go,
back to the faery filled meadow.
I'm back in a flash- it's the break of dawn,
In the place of the door is a pure white fawn.
It looks at me but does not run away,
leaving me feeling welcome back any day.
