Even If All Went Wrong

Age Group: Adult
Even if all went bad in this life of mine,
I would be able to say,
That I have lived mighty fine,
That I have had my hour and loved more than a day,
Even though it may be to others dismay,
My life going wrong or failing is ok,
Because I have lived long and that is odd for me,
Only reasons being I have should be dead,
A person who was mad gave me wounds three,
I am lucky that they didnt find me in a pool of red,
But now I am ready for whenever it does near,
Because I have loved the perfect girl,
It is because of her I have loved someone,
I know this may sound dumb,
But I once heard from a post,
That if you do not love you are not alive,
That if you never love then you will truly never live,
I do not know about you when I say this,
But I was not alive for a time everly so long,
But now that I have loved I am everly so alive,
Because of that one lady still young,
Everly so fast I was flung,
Head first into the waters of life in a spiral dive,
So if I were to die right now,
I know that I could be alive emotionally before the end,
And that to me and maybe some others is a godsend.
