In The Cold
by Gram Alabaster
Age Group: Adult
All around the world teens in trouble,
Because of their thoughts in their heads that bubble on in,
The thoughts that turn to actions that make them grin,
Grin with glee at the thought of being a teen once more,
But what they do their parents obviously do not adore,
So the parents kick the teen out of the house into the cold,
Sure the parents may still worry but mostly will ignore,
The teen will grow stronger out of his hate for parents,
But for the first night,
It will be a struggle or what seems to be a fight,
A fight to live in the cold of winter that has come so fast,
When that struggle is finally over,
Teen will become a mature or messed up adult at last.
Author's Notes: thanks to my friends mum and dad, my mum and dad and teens like myself and my friends around the world, there are more hateful and untrusting individuals in society than there were only a few days ago... oh well what can one do?
