Which was was and Should have been

He writes a poem of my dark abyss
He forgot our loving it could have been bliss
Asked the Goddess for a love to love me only
He couldn't lighten my dark side leaving me lonely
He was a Gift from the Goddess so pure
We should have been life's greatest love story that's for sure
Author's Notes: I miss him every much, his company and the good wit and sense of humour. May the Goddess hold him in Her delicate hands and may he heal from his sadness and sorrow. She gifted him to me as a mate, but he couldn't handle the dark abyss. Dark and Light, where was the balance that could have been?
