Peace without any big apocalypses to get us there. Perfectly healthy Eco-system for Gaia without humans needing to die or any other animals. Poverty to be stamped out....all people live in dignity with enough. |

Of the many things there are to wish for, no matter what we choose, those wishes will go against the wishes of others. and that in itself is not fair. That being said, Should I be given 3 wishes I would wish for... 1) The world to realise that we are all EQUAL... Rich/Poor, Christian/Muslim/Pagan, Sexual Orientation, The amount/or lack there of, of a GENETIC tan, People in positions of power with God complexes to the poorest of the homeless people who probably have some better ideas on running a country then those in power. we are ALL equal... all cut from the same cloth... if you prick us we shall all bleed... why is this so hard to understand and get along? 2) To delevop a GLOBAL Well being for all. I hate to use a Star Trek Reference here but it works. In the future of the Star Trek world they have created a planet where all are equal.. nobody has more or less money.. everyone anywhere can get a good education to better themselves, Food is available for ALL, all peoples have housing and clothing and jobs NO MATTER where you live in the world. Everyone is an equal. And because of that there is peace. 3) PEACE... for all of the world to be free from the binds of their intolerences... only then can we truely have global peace. Dreams are the stuff reality is made of... eventually... Good dreams to you all. |

I would wish that we all come to the realization that we don't need wishes to make the world a better place where we can all be safe, happy, and proud. We need to come to grips with our own ability to improve things while accepting that we can't separate this from the need to work hard and make short-term sacrifices for everyone's long-term gain. That's about it. We only need one wish. We ought to be able to handle all the really important things by ourselves... if we can just be convinced to step up to the plate, stare down the pitcher, and have faith in our swing. |

1 ... That every person was able to see God or themselves in every other person. 2 ... That ALL people had access to and/or opportunities to better themsleves. 3 ... 10 million dollars. Yeah, I know ... selfish. ... but if I were independently wealthy, I could find tons of more productive things to do with my life than work here (even though it's a great job) . I could focus more on others if I weren't working so hard on the basic food, shelter, insurance things. =) |
