At 8 pm EST The Sentient Temple gathered in mind, spirit, and those that were close, by physical means in the Temple's circle to send their combined Maya Reiki Spiritual healings/energies to those that were either directly or indirectly involved in the de-virginizing of our great nation. We must stand United as in "The United States of America!" United we stand....Divided we fall. Our hearts and energies go out to all...we must work together to rid our mother earth of her terrorists' pestilence....Blessings be upon you all! Lady A

| Numbness And Disbelief Are Just Two Words Out Of A Myriad That... | Sep 11th. at 9:49:17 pm EDT |

| Charles Demery (Glendive, Montana US) | Age: 32 - Email |

Numbness and disbelief are just two words out of a myriad that could be used to describe the feelings as I sat and watched the days tragedy unfold. I had more than a few wishes for retrabution, however that is not what is needed. As Mr. Bonewits has already said, we need to focus on what is needed now. We need to send positive energy and thoughts to those who may remain trapped and to those working to save those who can be saved and recover and clean up. Revenge will come in time and hatred is the last thing we need right now. My heart and thoughts are with those who are in need of help and with those families affected. It is indeed a very sad day...
Goddess bless and shine her light upon those who are affected... May the Lord of the Forest lend forth his strength...

| Having Grown Up In The Shadow Of New York City, And With... | Sep 11th. at 9:50:55 pm EDT |

| Brian J. McGahren (Falls Church, Virginia US) | Age: 38 - Email |

Having grown up in the shadow of New York City, and with many family members in the area, I was stunned. Then I watched, horrified, as the Tower collapsed. I remember, as an adolescent, standing on the deck of one of the Towers, speechless that I could be so high.
Two brothers work in Manhattan, and fortunately, neither was in that part of downtown, though one nearly was; he had been scheduled for a work meeting that morning on Water Street near the Towers. A last minute change kept him out of the area. Thank the Goddess and God....
If I'm feeling the way I am, I cannot fathom how the families of the missing and the dead are feeling tonight; may all spiritual energy and strength go their way tonight.

| Sad Greetingsjust About Ten Years Ago I Was A Returning College... | Sep 11th. at 9:57:14 pm EDT |

| Seshat (Columbus, Ohio US) | Age: 35 |

Sad Greetings
Just about ten years ago I was a returning college student at a community college in NW Ohio. As I sat down for the first day of my history class, I knew in the back of my mind that events were unfolding that would mark my life path for many years to come. The Professor said himself that evening that anything he might say that evening might be irrelevant the next day. It was the beginning of the most interesting class I ever sat.
The next day, the Gulf War began.
The class was Middle Eastern History and it forever changed my view of the events that unfolded a decade ago. Today I find myself drawing on that knowledge as I find myself once again listening to news of horrible proportion and range.
All around me, co-workers and friends are outraged, alarmed and devastated in turn. Some would have "the war machine" turned full force against any or all of the possible sources of these infamous acts. Others fear that war or escalating exchanges will follow in near days. I'm still left feeling like this is something between a flashback and a premonition - both unwelcome. I am also dismayed to hear how many misconceptions and generalizations are still made about the Mid East and its people.
WE (all people) must remember that oppressors/terrorists and their regimes are separate from the people. Just as past dictators have used propaganda and pressure to move people to do their dirty works, so today are those same tools employed. WE (all of us) need to remember that just as being black does not make one the descendant of a slave, neither does being Arab, Palestinian, Lebanese, Islamic/Muslim, etc - make one a terrorist. And finally We (everyone) need to band together irregardless of our superficial differences to combat this kind of inhuman action.
Or we may again be faced with another such tragedy

| I Woke This Morning To The Planes Flying Into The Trade Center... | Sep 11th. at 9:57:46 pm EDT |

| Donna Phillips (Vermilion, Ohio US) | Age: 54 - Email |

I woke this morning to the planes flying into the Trade Center buildings in New York. I wasn't able to accomplish much the rest of the day. I keep thinking about the people in those buildings, and the family of those people. I started sending loving peaceful energy out to all and to this country of ours. I keep thinking where and what has happened to our government. I can't believe that with all the knowledge and equipment that we have that this got past them. I always have had this feeling that everything happens for a reason, but I just can't figure out what the reason for this could be; unless it is to wake us all up and to try to make this world a more loveing world.

| FireWind (Toronto, Ontario CA) | Age: 25 - Email |

I feel like I've been punched in the gut. I can't understand any of this. My heart goes out to the victims and their families and loved ones. May the gods comfort and protect those in need, no matter what gods they worship. May healing follow pain. May sane and calm heads guide wise action.
Blessed Be

| I Honestly Don't Know What To Feel. I'm Shocked So Much That... | Sep 11th. at 10:07:45 pm EDT |

| Tanais (Spokane, Washington US) | Age: 20 |

I honestly don't know what to feel. I'm shocked so much that I can't cry or feel much of anything. Then I get a call from my parents telling me that they were not too far away from the pentagon when it was attacked. They were at Kennedy Airport and from what I heard, that airport could have easily been a target. I've spent the last few hours thinking not only about the countless people right now that are hurt or dead but about my own parents who could have been among them. All I could say is thank you Gods that my parents weren't hurt but there are plenty out there who were. My school is holding a candelight vigil for the victims of this absolutely horrible atrocity. I will especially pray for those that were on the planes that were hijacked. Being in the airline industry I know that the last thing I ever thought about when I look at an airplane was a manual operated tactical missle and I'm sure none of those people on the planes did either. From the second of their planes being taken over, I know they believed they were as good as dead and they had to think about that all during their last few precious moments of life. I will pray for them to find peace. I hope that they will along with the terrorists victims inside the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and the widows and hurt families of the Men and Women taken too soon from this world.
Blessed Be the bringers of peace
