A tear falls from a darkened face The light no longer shines A darkness greater than all else Over shadows innocent lives
It makes the world stand still in silence Heads bent in sorrows grasp The terrorist strike so sharp so sudden A blow to every worlds heart
From the distance places wide America is watched in hope in fear We send condolisances from a afar And once again nations shed their tears
Peace and Love So mote it be A light veil upon a hardened heart

| What This Group Of In-human And Inconsiderate Not So Nice People Have... | Sep 14th. at 6:43:56 am EDT |

| Opal Moon (Clinton Township, Michigan US) | Age: 22 - Email |

What this group of in-human and inconsiderate not so nice people have done to our country and it's families is almost incomprehensiable. I urge every Pagen to recite their version of the Wiccan Rede as often as possible. While may Covens, as well as solitary practitioners have different versions of our code, two ideas remain the same. "An it harm none, do as thy will" as well as a reference of the three fold law. This group of people has definatly harmed others, in both the physical and mental sense. But they can take our land marks and they can take our lives, but they can never take our spirit. If anything, I believe this attack has brought all of us closer together as Americans as well as human beings. It is just sad that it has taken a tragic event like this to realize each other. I have faith that our government will do everything it can to bring who is responsible to justice. But at the same time I am recciting the three fold law over and over. I am not a negative person, nor do I wish anything bad onto another. I can say this though, I hope whomever commited these acts has the three fold law catch them between the eyes. I also don't wish to be anywhere near these people when their karma catches up to them, the Goddess cannot be pleased, and in time, I am sure she will express this in her own way. Blessed be to all, and please keep praying. Opal Moon

| Mouse (Hamburg) | Age: 33 - Email |

Spirit of the Air Carry the souls of the deceased to the Gods And blow away the clouds of pain and anger from our minds
Spirit of Fire Light the way for the souls of the deceased And melt the ice that threatens to entomb our hearts
Spirit of Water Wash away their pains And heal our wounds, too
Spirit of Earth Support them on their way And give us strength as we live on
Lord and Lady Embrace your children And show us how to act wisely

| For Weeks I Felt That Something Was Amiss, What Is Was I... | Sep 14th. at 7:16:51 am EDT |

| Aislin Deva (Carson City, Nevada US) | Age: 23 - Email |

For weeks I felt that something was amiss, what is was I didnŐt know but I knew it would be catastrophic. Others told me of similar anxious feelings and still we could not figure out what it was. Then it hit. And since then the world weeps. Over the last couple of days, I like so many others, have been awash of emotions. I do not have any loved ones that have perished in this tragedy, but my heart weeps for all out there that have lost someone. There have been so many times the last couple of days that I have heard news that has made my heart swell. May the God and Goddess bless everyone that has donated these last couple of days, whether it be risking their lives to find survivors in the wreckage or as simple as rushing down to donate blood. It gives me a renewed sense of pride to be living in a county where there are people who are willing to pulling together in events such as these. There is so much evil in the world and it is refreshing to see that we can indeed counteract that evil with our willingness to give. But I have also heard terrible things that made my skin crawl. When I read what Jerry Falwell and Pat Robinson said, it brought me to tears. How can someone be so hateful? How can these men sit there and point fingers at fellow Americans when the rest of the country is bound together in devotion to our fallen brothers and sisters? IŐve also heard rather vulgar racial slurs and seen segments on the news about hate crimes, and this too makes me weep. If a group of Americans go to a foreign country and commit a heinous crime, does that mean all Americans are to be blamed? And yet this is what we are doing. There are people that are American citizens that are being punished because of their religion or race. Are we going to sit back and allow this? The Pagan Community above all should understand this plight and I say that we pray for these victims as well.
Keep the feelings of love and giving!
May the God and Goddess Bless All

| I Just Read The Exerpt From Jerry Fallwell And Pat Robertson's Broadcast... | Sep 14th. at 7:46:35 am EDT |

| Mary Miller (Wixom, Michigan US) | Age: 37 - Email |

I just read the exerpt from Jerry Fallwell and Pat Robertson's broadcast yesterday. I had heard it mentioned on the news this morning as posed a question to the minister speaking on his thoughts of these two. He said in response that they needed to chose thier enemies wisely. This scares me for 2 reasons, one those are the words of Hitler in his autobiography Mien Kompf, and 2 he blamed the Pagans for this attrocity. I take great offense that they could actually say that America "probably deserved this". As if those 4000 plus people died in vain because we pissed off thier God??!!It is apalling that these "ministers" could use this as thier own podium to perpetuate their own hate and self serving interests. This Heathen family is bunking down for the long haul. I don't think that the Muslim community will be the only ones attacked, innocent or not, and I think if this continues, we could have an internal war to match the one that Bush is calling for. Shame on these two for perpetuating even more violence, and trying to destroy the freedoms that this country was so proud of preserving. They are truly two of the biggest idiots on the airwaves. Everyone has an opinion, and I do feel a quote from Voltaire was right when he said, " I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to my death your right to say it." If these two have thier way, they will begin another war on our own soil to perpetuate the Christian Right Wing. That I will not defend, nor condone. I say send these two over to Pakistan and let them view thier points there. Obviously, they didn't seem to think that they should be blamed, but decided to blame our own society and condemn the rights we all fought so hard for. My prayers and candles are lit for all the victims and all of the pagan community as well. Lets hope that this does not backlash and cause even more bloodshed because these two want to act like idiots.

| Yesterday I Wrote The Following, And Last Night I Read It As... | Sep 14th. at 7:58:56 am EDT |

| Eeluna (Hurricane, West Virginia US) | Age: 41 - Email |

Yesterday I wrote the following, and last night I read it as part of a ritual of healing and hope.
Tonight we come here in shock. Our hearts and minds filled with horror at this terrible tragedy. But our spirits are strong, and we gather now to send healing energy to those whose pain is even greater than our own.
To the families and loved ones of those who are missing or have died, we send comfort.
To those who may still be trapped in the rubble, we send hope.
To the rescue workers and medical personnel who are working tirelessly in such devestating conditions, we send strength.
To our leaders who must deal with the aftermath of this great tragedy, we send wisdom.
To those who are so angry and hurt they can think of nothing but revenge, we send peace.
To those who are so ignorant that they celebrate this evil, we send tolerance and compassion.
To all Americans, nay to all Humanity, who were shocked and horrified by these senseless and inhumane acts of hatred and violence, we send comfort, hope, strength, wisdom, peace, tolerance, compassion and most of all LOVE!
So that the rescue work may continue as well as possible, we ask that the rains be soft and the winds mild. We ask that the Sun shine with gentle warmth and bright light to guide the hands of those who search.
So that further tragedies may be avoided, we ask that the rescue workers find any who are still alive as quickly as possible and that no others are hurt or injured in the process.
So that justice is served, we ask that the criminals who perpetuated these vile acts swiftly meet the fate they have so well wrought.
So that some good can come from this great tragedy, we ask that the People of Earth realize that whatever our nationality or religious beliefs, we are all truly ONE PEOPLE. Let us come together and work for a future in which all children can feel safe and loved.

| Jennifer & Norman (Memphis, Tennessee US) | Age: 23 - Email |

As I sit here preparing for today and getting my candles ready I can't help but think about the ones that can't light candles. So for today I will light a candle for Tower One, Tower Two, The Pentagon, And I will light a candle for all those that can't light one....
Least we forget what happened this day.... September 11, 2001...
and I hope out of this we will remember for the future generations..
At this moment I love each and everyone of you.....
When you light your candles and say your prayers don't be sad these people that died changed our world and our lives.....

| I Remember The Night Before The Attack, I Couldn't Sleep, I Was... | Sep 14th. at 9:32:59 am EDT |

| Dracoa (Stafford, Virginia US) | Age: 21 - Email |

I remember the night before the attack, I couldn't sleep, I was up all night. Thinking back I probally knew something was wrong. At about the time of the first crash I finally got to bed and fell asleep, later one after I finally awoke, I came downstairs, the TV was on. At first I couldn't believe it, it had to have been a prank or a joke of some sort, if only that wish were true. I'm still in shock at what happened, this being 72.5 hours later, I'm still upset at the needless loss of life, I'm still angry at the people, no, not people, people couldn't have done this sort of thing, monsters, I'm still angry at the cold heartless monsters who would do this, I still wish I could be with the families who lost loved ones, I still wish a speedy recovery for the injured, I still hope and pray that all are found in the ruins of the World Trade Center, but most importantly, I still hold on to my only dream in life, that dream is that all people of all faiths come together in peace.
May the Gods watch over us all.
