Question of the Week: 110 - 5/14/2003 What’s Your Favorite Element? Do have a special affinity for one of the elements of Earth, Air, Water or Fire? Do you find one of these easier to work with than the others? Do ritual objects or other items associated with this element just seem to find their way to you? On the flip side, do any of these elements – or what they represent – give you trouble? (For example: If you are drawn to the Fire principle, do you struggle with the emotional or spiritual aspects related to Water?) How do you balance out the elements within yourself? If you are ‘missing’ an element (or more than one) in your astrological chart (few or no Air, Water, Earth or Fire signs), do you consciously make an effort to enhance or strengthen the influence of that missing element(s) in some way? What symbols, tools, animals, compass direction, emotions or spiritual guidance do you associate with the elements of Earth, Air, Water and Fire? And what does Spirit represent or mean to you? |

MM all, I'm a Pisces with heavy aquarius in my chart. My affinity is to Brother Wind. Coupled with my Bear totem the problem I experiance is burning RAGE (Fire) . Normally I'm very calm, but set me off and you better run to the hills... MP, Ben |

I'm a Leo ruled by Mars, but in my heart, i only feel water, and you can see that by my nick (Jibril aka Gabriel, angel of water) , i can't really tell why, but i'm really a water boy, when i see water, i (really can't describe the sensation) but is if i really belong there since the begining of my life, there, i can feel a great peace in my heart, and my soul begans to flout in the middle of the air, and all my body feels like it wants to melt with the water, and become the same. |

In truth, ALL elements. In the personal, earth. Grounds me, fills me, why the pentacle is so magickal as a "symbol" as such. I have no "earth" in my astro* chart, none whatsoever, mostly water, so earth is a personal power point for me! But ether, now ether on the other hand... :) |

Well, I was born on the cusp of Scorpio and Sagittarius. I've been referred to as a "steam" sign. I always used to play with water as a child and now I find it to be relaxing. I've fallen into the deepest sleep I ever have just by listening to the waves crashing on the beach. I also find fire to be mystifying and hypnotizing. Not just like and everyday pyro mind you. It's like the flame has something to say to me. |

My mama didn't raise no fool! Well... I'm a Scorpio but I have to be feelin' a serious hurtin' to turn to water. Nothing against it, just that other things work so much hmmm quicker. I live on a farm and was raised here. Ain't nothin' like digging in the dirt or stomping barefoot along rocks or a muddy garden that needs tilled to reconnect. : ) The wind and skies are particularly sisterly to me though and I'm always facing the part of our South woods where a certain scaly, fire-breather still lives hidden under the fallen leaves. So, oddly it's more which element I'm *least* akin to and that's the one of my sun sign, go figure! Blessings Kerridwen |

i am totally, 100% connected with air. i always had dreams of soaring through the clouds, and the mysterious and haunting "whoooooo...." sound wind makes in trees is magickal to me. my name represents my dream. to be a soaring hawk...to fly would be to be free of everything...no worries...soaring above all the worries...ill stop before i get way too spiritual...hehehe....i guess im the rare element since most people are not air people on this board... |

My dear brothers and sisters, I am and alyays have been a child of the earth.When I am in the woods or in the mountians i am at peace in mind, body, and spirit. I can feel the wisdom and stringh and life flow through me when i am by myself in the woods, It takes me to state of being taht nothing in this world can ever do. Thank you.
