| I Don't Think I'll Ever Forget This Day As Long As I... | Sep 11th. at 9:40:26 pm EDT |

| Sabine Moonsinger (West Village, NYC, New York US) | Age: 36 - Email |

I don't think I'll ever forget this day as long as I live.
People wandering the streets, mouths covered, looks of disbelief and numbed stun on their faces. Wide avenues, capable of 4-5 cars deep, empty, except for the lone emergency vehicle screaming down it with sirens blasting. People handing out fruit, bagels, water to those of us standing in line to give blood. Strangers finding solace in each other...hidden looks of relief or worry. Shops, restaurants closed...a quietness that would make you think it's still Labor Day.
As we approach the Fall Equinox, please put your spiritual energies into finding the balance once again. So many need our thoughts and prayers--from the families to the rescue workers still battling the fires.
May the gods protect us all.

| It Is Amazing To Me On How Divided We Feel From Each... | Sep 11th. at 9:37:46 pm EDT |

| Tracey Russell (San Antonio, Texas US) | Age: 31 - Email |

It is amazing to me on how divided we feel from each other (divided by race, by politics, by religion, etc...) on a day to day basis and yet during a crisis like this we become one America. Our country is not perfect, we have issues and problems, but I think that we are the best country on the planet. Our compassion and love is overwhelming. We give more money to the world than any other country. We take in more immigrants than all the other countries put together. We celebrate together and we cry together and now, we are praying together. Blessed be, shalom and ache to the victims, to the survivors and to the families...

| I Never Thought I Would See The Day When There Would Be... | Sep 11th. at 9:32:03 pm EDT |

| Emry Skyemoss (Nashville, Tennessee US) | Age: 45 - Email |

I never thought I would see the day when there would be F-16 fighter planes flying in American airspace to protect my country; when there would be American aircraft carriers in New York's harbors to safegard our shores. I am still numb, unable to make sense of a day that has no sense in it. I am a nurse - and my heart is going out to those who are trying to alleviate the pain and the suffering - and especially those who died trying to do their job.
I have been mildly surprised today that the weather here continued to be beautiful - I somehow expected the very earth and sky to join in the grief and pain.
I have done all I can: I have prayed, I have donated blood, I have made further plans to provide what assistance I am able to... but most importantly I have told all those dear to me that I love them and what they mean to me.
May the Lord and Lady shine on us all.

| During This New "day Of Infamy" Our Thoughts, Prayers, Projections, And Rituals... | Sep 11th. at 9:31:04 pm EDT |

| Rev. Nicolas Strathloch, H.P./ PhD/ DD (Beverly Hills, California US) | Age: 50 - Email |

During this new "Day of Infamy" our thoughts, prayers, projections, and rituals go out to all those innocent victims and their families and friends. Let us all focus upon peace and healing for those whose lives have been touched by these horrific events. The Westwicke Center extends its' condolences to the families of the victims, and our "Circle of Peace" is meeting continuously throughout this national crisis - sending forth love and light, as well as a spiritual call for justice against those responsible for this cowardly attack.
The resolve of our Nation will be tested, and the spirit of our people will be tested. Let us hope and charge that all will come to a more united front against this type of tyrrany and those who harbor and support these terrorists.
May the Blessings of the Ancient Ones be upon us all.

| Do Not Hate.. That Will Solve Nothing.. Buildings Can Be Rebuilt, People... | Sep 11th. at 9:18:57 pm EDT |

| Aden_lorelei (Cambridge , Ontario CA) | Age: 19 - Email |

do not hate.. that will solve nothing.. buildings can be rebuilt, people will be mourned and in time the pain will pass.. but hatred.. lasts forever. everyday on every news channel people are dying. and people can pass off 300 dead in south america without batting an eye... people can look past starving children in asia, people can pass by those without a home on the other side of the country... becuase they dont care. these are all side effects of war.. of fighting.. i have spent the last 8 hours crying.. becuase too many people are dead...... for what reason?? hate. revenge. i close my eyes and i see a child at a window... a teddy bear hanging from a 4 year olds arms as she looks out her bedroom window, a bomb is dropped on her head... just imagine... a child, who has done nothing.. now imagine this in america??
everyday this stuff happens and no one is doing anything about it except saying "nuke the bastards" well.. you know what.. we have.. and now they are coming back against us. against the people on the other side of the world.. against our homes... i cant blame them.. becuase you all are reacting the same way they did.. military tactics.. hatred, fear...... a human should know not of these things.. but look around you.. theres a 6 year old playing war, but how many 6 year olds doyou see playing peace time???
when i got home today i gave my nephews a big hug and they said "i love you " i will be damned if i ever hear them say "i hate....." becuase im going to teach them not to... they will know peace and not hate... i dont think i could take it if they did.
I would give my life if everyone would stop fighting.. wouldnt you???

| I Am In Shock Like The Rest Of The World. I Only... | Sep 11th. at 9:18:32 pm EDT |

| Michele Powers (Pendleton, Indiana US) | Age: 34 - Email |

I am in shock like the rest of the world. I only hope that as the shock fades and the rage takes over that American's stay bonded together. I hope that they do not lash out at other innocent U.S. citizen's and visitors who look to be of Middle Eastern culture. This is no place for 'retaliation' on our own.
I have also noticed that gas prices have shot up in Indiana from $1.75 to (at the last look) $6.00 a gallon. Why is this...is it U.S. panic or strings pulled in the Middle East? All I know is traffic is lined up for miles infront of every gas station and a few stations are already running out of gas. I went to the store and stocked up on can goods and other non perishables because I am afraid the trucking industry will not be able to hold up due to skyrocketing expense of diesel full. Afraid the stores stock will deplinish. Better to be safe and full, than starving....i can always eat the food later if what i feel is coming does not. Take care all of you!!!!!!!! We are not a country equip to deal with being at war on our own soil....be prepared! Love you All - SunCat

| I Was In Homeroom At Loyola Academy, Chicago Illinois. Jessica Came In... | Sep 11th. at 9:16:48 pm EDT |

| Aelfen Pandora (Chicago, Illinois US) | Age: 16 - Email |

I was in homeroom at Loyola Academy, Chicago Illinois. Jessica came in and told us that two 747's were hijacked and were crashed into New York's World Trade Center and another in the gardens of the Pentagon. I don't believe her. Rumors of the east coast were murmured through the class and our teacher couldn't get into any news websites due to traffic. The speaker goes on, immediate silence. I can hear people lick their lips and breath. Once the news is slowly, painfully told, I think, "John Lennon, Save Us!"
All day, the sky was perfectly clear, even the birds were afraid to fly. I could hear other people breath and the traffic outside. My two half-sisters live in New York, yet close to Central Park.
When I first saw the recording of the second plane crashing into the World Trade Center, I first thought it was computer-generated. I couldn't have imagined it in my wildest dreams, until now.
Even now, the memories of what I was doing during "Pearl Harbor Two" are fuzzy and are in slow motion. What happens next?

| Having Spent All Night Listening To The News Reports On The Radio... | Sep 11th. at 9:04:56 pm EDT |

| Salice (Warwickshire, England UK) | Age: 16 - Email |

Having spent all night listening to the news reports on the radio and watching the tv footage, of todays awful event. I would like to send the warmest possible wishes and condolences to the friends and family of those killed both during the attacks and those who died trying to rescue others. I don't think I need to explain how deeply upset and disturbed at what has happened, as everyone, I think, will comprehend completely. It is such a horrible thing to try and understand. So I would like to let you know, anyone who has been effected and I think everyone has, that thoughts are with you from all around the world.
Blessed Be.

| A Feeling Of Disbelief Has Been With Me Most Of The Day... | Sep 11th. at 8:52:00 pm EDT |

| Jessica (Lakewood, California US) | Age: 16 - Email |

A feeling of disbelief has been with me most of the day. Seeing the collapse of one of the wtc building live via tv is stuck in my memory. School went on in the usual fashion except for a few before the start of classes. Somehow we students found our way to a classroom with the tv on the news. First it was just a couple teachers and students who soon left, then by the ring of the bell 25 some students where in this room watching updates on the news. I looked aorund and thought that these must be the few who truely care that this attack can be called the Pearl Harbor of our generation. I just felt that I needed to share that bit from my day. I encourage all people of all faith to unite by sending out good engery to help all who are in need in this crisis.

| Besides Being A Witch And Having Been One For A While Now... | Sep 11th. at 8:51:31 pm EDT |

| Aidan Odinson (Collingdale, Pennsylvania US) | Age: 53 - Email |

Besides being a Witch and having been one for a while now, I also have a background as a military officer. This gives me some perspectives. I have two thoughts to offer.
First: Those who committed the deed must be brought to justice. This is basic. I see it also as being perfectly in accordance with what I have learned. An act of war in which one uniformed force attacks another uniformed force is something entirely different. Here, totally innocent people were harmed.
Second: The innocent must not be harmed as authorities pursue their quest to find the guilty people.
