| Having Pagan Parents

Now I am here to talk about parents, pagans and pagan girlfriends. Quite obviously they don’t go together straight away for most people and if you are one of those people then just hold in there because they will most probably find out on their own and then you won’t have to tell them.
But me, I was a bit of both. I waited and then "accidently" posted something on Facebook. It was worrying at first because I thought it didn't work and then suddenly... my mum came into the bathroom (I was having a bath) and started to interrogate me.
The thing I put on Facebook was that ‘one side of the family knows and now the other needs to’.
"What did you mean by what you put on Facebook?” she said.
I suddenly panicked and said, "I don't know. It was random"
She said, "No it wasn't. Are you needing anything??"
I said, "No I just wanted to tell you I was pagan"
"Ohh" she said. "That’s okay. Your aunt is a white witch."
My heart was thudding in my chest and I was very exited that it went so well.
That was all… after two years that I had been "in the broom closet"
The other side of the family was easy; this was my dad's side. One night they went out so I decided to do the love spell I had been planning and started it as soon as they went out …but not knowing that I was going to make a load of mess, I did it on a wooden table and made the biggest wax spill ever. She came home later that night and was okay with it. She asked me. So I told her I was doing a spell. And she just replied with “Okay. Well you better clear up the mess and next time you do it do it outside.”
Then about four months later she said, ” Are you pagan?"
And I go, "Yes; how did you know?"
She said, "I saw your pentacle necklace."
I was so happy that someone knows about it because I never knew there was anyone else who knew. Then I met my current girlfriend. She loves me. She is pagan too.
This was how we met. Her friend said, “I know someone who is pagan like you.¨
I said, "Who would that be? ¨
She said, “Yvette. I'll give you Yvette's number if you like. ¨
I said, “Sure¨ and started to text her right away but she wasn't answering so I texted:
"Are you Wiccan / Pagan?"
She answered straight away with "Yes; how did you know? ¨
I said, "Your friend Danie told me. ¨
She goes, “Ohh yeah. I know you. You wanna hang around at lunch and break and maybe meet up after school? ¨
So I said, "Yeah that would be cool! ¨
So then we started to hang around a lot, Then one day we were meeting up and I knew I had to ask her out. So I did and it was successful and now we have been going out for nearly three months and we are still crazy for each other.
And that was the story about my girlfriend, my step mum, my stepdad, my mum and me.
My girlfriend and me are still together.
Blessings to you and you family and friends.
