What is Happening in My Psychic Reading?

I often talk to people getting a psychic reading for the first time and to people who get them on a regular basis. There is no doubt we all need a little help from time to time, maybe just some advice to see us through a challenge or to see an issue from a different perspective. A non-judgmental ear to hear us, or to listen into our souls purpose, can make all the difference when we feel stuck. But I want more than just someone to listen in a psychic reading. I want a profound experience or hopefully some positive information educating me on my future. Perhaps steps to take to achieve a better version of myself or a clearer understanding of a problem I'm facing.

I have to admit I love a good reading. I have probably received fifty or more "professional" psychic readings in the past twenty years. Most were paid money in exchange for their service but sometimes received through trade. I have found a lot of times readers will accept your gift, talent or art form in trade for a reading. Some have been profoundly great and some have been pure entertainment but I have never had a terrifying or horrible experience in a psychic reading.

I think getting a reading can be a lot like trying to understand a dream. Psychic readers often talk to me in metaphors, signs, symbols, riddles and timelines. This stranger across from me gazes into tarot cards, crystals, relaying messages from angels or spirit guides who can bring clarity to my ongoing woes. It is kind of exhilarating to think for those few moments or minutes we are getting channeled-direct-guidance or information from cosmic sources and putting together pieces of a puzzle to see a bigger picture.

In all seriousness though, I want clarity. At the very least to leave with some answers or new strategies to solve my problem. The truth is it won't always result in immediate revelations and solutions, but be patient and pay attention.

Some of the best readings I have had are from people that might not always appear professional but for whatever reason I believe and trust they might offer good wisdom. There is no ego. It's like they don't even realize how helpful they are to me. My soul level or subconscious-self is drawn to them like a magnet. The reading might not always make sense but I have learned to listen and make that effort to pay attention. I will often record the session (some readers don't like this because of electromagnetic interference) or take notes. Just listening to absorb the experience is what I suggest.

I often hear about myself in a reading, the thoughts and feelings I have put into words though this stranger or trusted psychic across from me. I have a lot of theories and have done quite a bit of research on psychic abilities but I still don't think anyone can explain how it really works for everyone. It could be coincidence. There are so many possible explanations. Divine guidance, third-eye activation, pituitary gland decalcification, naturally gifted, psychically trained, etc.

We are all psychic. Natural intuition is coded into every human DNA. You feel it sometimes or you don't. It comes more naturally to some but everyone has access to this cosmic power or sixth sense. Learning to filter your intuition through your imagination is the key. What is just your imagination? Could it be a psychic message? Could you already be receiving psychic messages naturally, through dreams or through practicing intuitive development? The answer is yes, you probably are.

Are you looking for answers?

Listen to your intuition.

We all could use a little guidance. Some answers would be nice. Especially for ongoing problems or issues in our lives that seem to be on repeat cycles. Even the most adept professional psychic must need help from time to time because we are all human.

If you are being drawn to a psychic or healer for help or wisdom, I say go for it. See what they have to offer. It's okay to ask questions but I usually expect my reader to do most of the talking. Make it an equal exchange of energy. Don't overload your reader by bursting into all your problems and despair upon your greeting. I think minimal explanation about why you are there to see them or no explanation at all is best. Allow them to do their work. Even if you don't have a problem or question and are just curious, let them provide their service.

I am often interested at the different styles and presentations of psychic readers. Some readers can be very animated and cliché. It can seem like they are playing a part in a movie or theater production. Their roles can still play a part in your future and present clarity. I think a lot of times these appearances could be part of societal programming. Don't discredit them upon their physical appearance. I think the space or environment in the reading room plays a part. I want to feel comfortable, as I'm sure they do too. Some readers are more polished but even the girl or boy pulling tarot cards at a bus stop could be a blessing.

I like my psychic reading face to face, sitting across from one another seems standard but at least being within each other's energy field or aura seems to make a difference. Over the phone readings or through email readings have their place but I think those readings are based more off of astrology and circumstance. I love readings that include some astrology. Understanding astrology is like reading the language of the universe. Astrology can definitely play a part in psychic readings but pure astrology readings are a science.

Usually, it is not the psychic reader or their method but it is the message that should make it worth it.

I hope this message helps you find and connect with the perfect psychic reader for you.
