Tonja grew up as a Pagan: her nanny (and first High Priestess) was a Dianic Witch. Tonja continued her Craft practice as an adult, pursuing deeper knowledge of the history and variety of the Old Religion. She has studied widely, with particular focus on the British Traditions, undertaking her Gardnerian training at the beginning of 2009.
