The Cyber Sitter Issue

CEO Brian Milburn has decided that anyone who runs a web site on Witchcraft and Paganism could not possibly be a potential customer for his company's software, a program that filters out potentially offensive Internet content so children can "safely" surf the Internet. He feels that he doesn't have to listen to them, and obviously his company feels it's ok to harass them.

Putting aside the fact that CyberSitter censors content web sites such as the National Organization for Women, putting aside the fact that CyberSitter censors critical articles on it's software such as the recently released CNet article on the mailbomb, and ignoring the fact that they have insulted and attacked Peacefire for their Free Speech Campaign, this instance would alone be enough to prove CyberSitter's complete disregard for the minority beliefs of their customers and potential customers, as well as their intolerance.

The following Web sites are offering detailed coverage of this situation. Surf over and offer your support today.

peacefire.org - thewitches.com
Celtic Connection - Dan's Page

Oh, and one more thing... If you usually access this site and others like it from your school, your library or workplace, download the material now...while you still can.

Blessed be!
