Planet to Remember (words/music by Fritz Jung)
There's 5 points in a circle And there's 5 ways home I'm all alone miles up in space A dream still tainted purple A dissonant tone Why the mystery ? The seeds already sewn ! You can't clear me Your focus ain't right If you fear me Ya can't control the night
We're a planet to remember Not a lost and found I'm much to high Testing the profound Science going crazy You'll destroy us all Do you care If mercy comes our way We waited for you We were struck the light Even we know The spell that you write!
All 5 root races Come aboard ! History traces the Unicorn We got what we need from you When it's said and done Our passion cries This eternity deep in our eyes You didn't count on love Didn't count on change We've seen your world It ain't so strange!
Give us back Avalon Don't take it away It's been to long Hear now what we say... Ta you As long as there's something on Something to say A race shinning bright On the 3rd rock from the sun We've just begun
Send me back to Gaia Back to my tribe I'm coming down It's good to be alive Tell me what your thinking Take note of the change Symbols send a chill You know we must believe You can't clear me So don't even try When your near me Your haunted by a flash of light
A flash of light A flash of light Just a flash of light Flash of light Flash ! __ Light...

For October 2001 I am honored to offer a second tune entitled Planet to Remember...
This was inspired by a long conversation I had with a very famous Witch back in 1995. A tune reflecting on creation, space and control, Planet to Remember was one of the most fun to record and perform.
Musically this tune is piano based. Since I am not really a piano player per say, the parts are simple chords layered to achieve the desired effect. The percussion contains an interesting blend of two completely different tracks 'hard panned' for an interesting effect. I am very happy with the stereo imaging and the punch of this track. Vocally it was a blast.
Oddly many have touted this AS their fave track on the CD. Why? I haven't a clue!
Happy Samhain Everyone....
