The Witches' Voice is proud to announce and support...

"Serving the Magickal, Occult, and Pagan Earth Community."
The Pagan WebCrafters' Association is a loose knit federation of individuals, from many religious paths and walks of life, banding together to help those who need help in the Craft of HTML Authoring. Our goal is to provide a forum for sharing information within and across all of the Web disciplines. By doing so, we hope to increase our members' depth and breadth of knowledge in this Wise Craft.

The Pagan WebCrafters' Association was formed in June '97 by a group of Pagan Webmasters who were looking for an arena to share information with their peers in the Pagan Networking Community.

With members World Wide, the Pagan WebCrafters' Association is looking for volunteers to head up Live Forums & Message Boards in the PWA to continue the tradition of proactive education by providing unique networking opportunities for the Magickal, Occult, and Pagan Community.

Run! Don't Walk!
PARADISE LOST... Now available on Video!

For those of you who missed the spectacular documentary "Paradise Lost" it is now available on video! Check out our HOT ISSUES page for the run-down on the story of The West Memphis Three, and why this case is so crucially important in the fight for religious freedom. Three young men are now rotting in Arkansas prisons, and many people believe they are innocent of any wrongdoing; "Paradise Lost" has brought this travesty of justice to international attention.

Do yourselves a favor and go to your local video store to rent this riveting film. The Witches' Voice has been following this story since its beginning, in the WLPA days. Peg, our Media Liaison, had the opportunity to meet the filmmakers, Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsy, and their work has won numerous prestigious awards and critical acclaim. We urge all who are not familiar with this case to see the film, make your own judgement, and join our campaign of education and protest; we demand a new trial for Damien, Jason and Jesse. Their appeals are pending, and YOUR support is desperately needed.

Running time: 150 minutes, No MPAA Rating (WARNING: Explicit Footage)

And The Winners are...

  • Cave of the Word Witch
  • Catala's Wicca Page
  • Circle in the Sand (formerly High Plains Magic Page)

Although we have picked Voice of the week award winners for the next 10 weeks we have regretably fallen a bit behind in our reviews of what we consider the best the Pagan Web has to offer. Join us this week in both catching up and celebrating the incredible work of three of our absolute favorites - Go HERE for our detailed reviews of these Websites and for hot links to their magic.

And what do these Witches really Look like?
Pretty much just like your neighbors... We are your Magicians, Musicians, Doctors, Scholars, Artists, Scientists, Professionals, Farmers, Clergy, Common laborers and Teachers. Simply stated WE are EVERYWHERE. Our Meet The Staff page celebrates our effort to humanize the Witches' Voice on the World Wide Web. Listed here are just a few of the names and faces of the wonderful Witches that have committed their time and energies this project. Over the next year technology will enable us to feature the faces of thousands that follow this path of light. Click on the image to your right and meet the staff.

Can they REALLY do this?

It turns out that ANYBODY can ! "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead So Mote it Be!

Magic Beans
Coffee House
Magic Beans Coffee House... Now O-Pan!
Do you... Wanna yak with other Witches ? Have a question about Witchcraft ? Wanna meet some wonderful Witches ? Wanna join in our Cyber Circle ? This is where the action is. Over the past few weeks our Live Feedback Forum has once again re-invented itself and those of you that stopped in last week had the pleasure of experiencing one of the most magical online circles to date. This Coffee House welcomes all and anything can happen... Click on the delicious image just to your left for the latest in discussions related to the Craft of the Wise... Check in and bring a friend to the Magic Beans Coffee house here at the Witches' Voice.

All Praise Jesus Christ "Our Lord"... You may now return to the Broom Closet... Don't kid yourself Witches, this IS a very real possibility and do know that the Religious Right is VERY well organized, VERY well connected and VERY well funded. The Witches' Voice is building a campaign to maintain YOUR first amendment rights and we need YOUR help. Click HERE for the latest information related to the Religious Right's most recent moves.

Judge not, lest ye be judged... A court is in the position to rule on points of law. This Alabama judge takes his job very seriously. We should take him seriously, too. Because if Judge Roy Moore (see frightening image just to your right) wins in this courtroom, Christianity may become the official state religion. This is scary stuff we are talking about folks... This has been going on for months and OUR Voice MUST be heard...

Teenage Witches are voicing their concerns - Are You ? This week we received a copy of a wonderfully crafted letter to President Clinton from a 17 year old Witch voicing her concern about Judge Moore's antics...

What? You want my opinion? Although, I personally place limited value on one's "opinion", I, like just about everyone, have one. The creation, evolvement and maintenance of WVOX leave me little time to use my own voice. I get asked all the time in email for my "thoughts" on various issues including religious rights, modern Witchcraft and (believe it or not) Web Design. This month I expose the many mistakes that I have made over the past year in learning how to create and evolve this WebSite. The Pagan Web has grown dramatically over the past 18 months and the future is indeed exciting. Of course this is just "my opinion".

Help us... Help Witches... Become a Sponsor of the Witches' Voice - by supporting the Witches' Voice you help to keep this WebSite alive, help Witches of the World maintain their right to practice Witchcraft (last year the WLPA gave over $8,000 bucks to cases like Iron Oak and Kerri Patavino), get deals on HOT WitchVox products (TBA) and a very cool looking sponsorship card. Even a book of stamps or a single dollar really helps. Presently we have 32 paying sponsors and may they be thrice blessed for their support. Send your support to The Witches' Voice, P.O. Box 560157, West Medford, Massachusetts 02156

The Witches' Voice SiteMap Index Page is a quick way around the Voice... Designed to be both fast and precise our site map is a must bookmark and a quick way to get an overview of our 135 pages. Blessed Be Well - The Witches' Voice Staff

Just In! Janes' Tidings for This Quarter...
The Witches' Voice is once again honored to feature the latest installment of the fine reporting and gathering work of Jane from Maine. Jane is a Witch and journalist who lives in Maine with four cats (black, of course). Many of you already know her from her famous "Jane's Tidings" column in both Harvest and Tides magazines. Feel free to send clippings, reports, updates, criticism and lavish praise to Jane, P.O. Box 64, Portland, ME 04112, or by simply E-Mailing her

Double Double Toil and Trouble - WIRED Magazine grooves on WVOX.

"The saying 'Those who walk in love and truth shall grow in honor and strength' greets each connection to the Witches' Voice. Grounded in Boston, Massachusetts, the undiluted threads of digital magic that make up this informative cyberspace offer a profound mythos for our increasingly obvious interconnecting global/universal web of life. A news and education network for WitchCraft as a pagan religion, this site is rich with compassion, honoring the sacrifices of the past. Elemental texts like the Witches Rede and the Three-Fold Law share the spotlight with the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, the Advanced Bonewits' Cult Danger Evaluation Frame, stories of modern witch persecutions, and a Witchcraft FAQ. Plunge into the hyper-techno spell of electronic modem handshakes and know the light of pure and true Magick." Wired Magazine - June '97
