Happy Mabon to one and to all,
As we head towards the end of the season cycle it's time for one and all to reflect on the year that has past and what we have learned. Wren and I have indeed learned much this year and are very excited about the future of the Modern Witchcraft movement. Allow me to use this forum to clarify and update just some of what we are doing here at the Witches' Voice.

Magic Beans Coffee House | Magic Beans Coffee House... Now CLOSED! Due to numerous circumstances of late, Wren and I have made the painful decission to close the Magic beans coffee house effective 9/24/97 at 10:13pm e.s.t. Some of the reasons as to why as well as a listing of some of the many chat boards out on the Pagan internet are offered on this page. Wren and I would like to once again offer our heartfelt thanks and Witch Hugs to all of you that did hold the light during the 15 Months that the Live Feedback Forum/The Magic Beans was offered to the Wiccan/Pagan cyber community. |
Witches of the World: Introduced earlier this month, the rewrite of this section has become very popular and almost 2,000 Witches are using this section to network and celebrate Wiccan Events in their area. Individual listings now contain an optional profile, sun sign, personal WEB link and a sponsorship celebration.
Every Contact that is listed on these pages is verified on a monthly basis via a WitchVox global emailing. Due to fundamental database technology, you will NEVER see an outdated event, it's all time stamped and automatic. (Goddess bless the Macintosh). All 70 of our state/prov pages are updated daily and are constantly being fine-tuned for accuracy. The next module planned for these pages is a listing of Witch/Occult shops in YOUR town. We get numerous requests for this and look for this new feature on your state/prov. page sometime in October. Introduced just this week is a breakout of Major Pagan Festivals due to national interest. List YOUR Witch Event Today!

A Quest for Unity: Witch hugs to all of you that have participated in this Quest to date. Look for the final 3 or 4 surveys over the next couple of months and a complete analysis by the end of the year. Many of the responses to the Hotter questions have been inspiring and in some cases quite a surprise. Thank you to the WebCrafters out there that have featured the Unity graphic on their page. Click HERE for the Witches Voice Quest for Unity Main Index. Quik Note: in order to speed up the posting of YOUR comments, we have bagged the time consuming spell check and are tossing the comments up as entered. Try and look beyond the occasional typo and celebrate the content therein. Just up (9/23/97) are the absolute Latest Comments on our latest survey Witchcraft in the Public Eye.
 | Wren & Fritz Go to Texas: Wren and I will be attending several festivals over the next year, The first one is the famous Council of the Magickal Arts gathering (sorry to say that this festival is Sold OUT) near Austin Texas from October 16th-18th. We are thrilled to able to hang out with our Texas brothers and sisters. Wren and I will be doing some casual workshops and yours truly will be singing some tunes from my latest release "Celtic Feast of the Dead" at the Bardic Circle (I better start relearning these tunes). For more info visit Texas Pagan Awareness Online. Thank YOU T.P.A.O. for making this all possible. |

YOURS for the Taking: Since day one the Witches' Voice has offered just about everything on this site for the taking. The only exception is our email list. All we ask is that credit is posted for any authors or artists were appropriate. If you see a graphic or an article that you'd like to feature on your site, just grab it. If you do grab an image or article from the TWV, kindly email us so that we can thank you. For more info on Internet Ethics see my rant from June entitled: Givers, Takers and the Pagan Web.
 | How IS the Witches' Voice doing? Thanks to recent sponsorships we are still alive and on the net. Our current balance is on the happy side of zero (around $380.00). Do note that 100% of all sponsorship donations go directly to serving the Wiccan community via this website, through legal and financial assistance and mailings to schools and local officials. Wren, myself and the rest of the staff take zero financial compensation for the work we do here. We can only do this with YOUR support. If you enjoy this website, like what we do, believe in what we do or want to help your brothers and sisters of the craft, become a sponsor of the Witches' Voice. If you are too poor to help, we do understand, do know that even a book of stamps can help. For more info surf to our sponsorship page and find out how you can become an official Sponsor of the Witches' Voice. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. Samhain '97
| The Witches' Voice Samhain Campaign On Wednesday, October 1st. the Witches' Voice will officially kick off its Samhain Media campaign. This "Annual Opportunity" to educate the world on modern day Witchcraft is something that we must REALLY be ready for. The Press does seek out "Real Witches" this time of year and what and how you communicate to them can dramatically effect the accuracy of what we really do. Many of you are "pros" at talking to the media. Many others have never had the experience. The Samhain campaign is starting to quickly take shape with 3 powerful referece pages by Wren, Peg and Jane. Check our our NEW Familiars Page!
We've been getting grief for this ever since we put up the cats of Witchcraft page back in our WLPA days. Wren and I love all animals and started with cats to help dispel one of the classic myths about Witchcraft... BIG NEWS: Thanks to the hard work of Circe from Florida, The Witches' Voice is proud to present the Familiars of Witchcraft Page. (a non cats page). Feel free to email Circe with a .jpg or .gif of your non-cat Witch familiar. Visit our Cats of Witchcraft page and view the cuteness therein. - We love our critters! | |
