Pagans Jump to Help Victims of Katrina... Author: Fritz Posted: September 4th. 2005 Times Viewed: 83,935 The Witches' Voice held a meet and greet last night with Janet Farrar and Gavin Bone [link] here in Clearwater, Florida. Our special guests wanted all monies at the door to go to help the victims of this tragedy. - Abet a small gathering of 21 local Pagans, a fabulous time was had by all. Lots of stories, a moving circle and lots of laughter. Thank YOU Janet, Gavin and all that attended this magickal evening. (pictured: Janet Farrar and Druydess) Today we received the wonderful news that Officers of Avalon's support campaign 'Avalon Cares' has netted some $11,000 in donations in just their first seven days - [more] - It is REALLY inspiring to hear this. - Although we cannot personally vouch for the integrity of many Pagan Orgs. we can and do endorse the efforts of the Officers of Avalon. 4 days ago we announced: The Witches' Voice, Inc. will donate 100% of all sponsorship payments received (both new and renewals) from September 1st. thru Samhain (Oct. 31st.) 2005 to emergency services providing aid for the victims of hurricane Katrina. Click HERE to Donate. On 9/9/2005 Witchvox will mail out a check for the $2, 398.00 we've received in donations/sponsorhips (100% of our income) from this past week. Breakdown: Paypal donations - $1.968.00 ... Mail in Checks - $150.00 ... Farrar Appearance - $280.00 ...
