It is with greatest Sorrow that I inform you belatedly of the Passing of Lady Bastet, High Priestess of Our Lady At the Shoreline, and Gardnerian Witch Queen, L. Line.
May the Great Goddess Isis, whose Daughter Lady Bastet, Witch Queen, keep Her Rainbow wings about our Beloved Sister's Heart, as Anubis has guided her through to the Otherworld. And May she be in a place of pure Summerland joy, with her Son, Roger!
Goddess Bastet, nurture your sister as She heals from her sorrow!
May She be welcomed into the company of all Elders of the Craft, the Grand Coven, and in the Summerland, Her Spirit Guide and Higher Self be fully connected to her.
Lady Bastet and I were first Initiated in the same year, and was an Elder from the Cleveland Community for whom I had the most love and respect. Although she was quite private in life, she was an extremely powerful High Priestess of the Goddess, and had been a Founding Member, along with my Coven and another, of the Ohio Local Council of the Covenant of the Goddess.
If there is going to be a Crossing Ritual for her, it might be done from her out of State
Queen's and extended Gardnerian Covens. I will be notified and post that information.
May She, by the Great Goddess to whose Service she dedicated her life, the Old Gods whom she Worshipped, and the Ancient and Mighty Watchers, ever Blessed Be.
And May She Come Again!
