Everyone recognizes the terms "do unto others as you would want done to you" or “karma” or, of course, " harm none and neither harm yourself ". These are very easy concepts to understand, but to put them into action takes much work. I personally am well aware that I am 100% responsible for my actions. For instance, the other day I ignored my intuition and decided to make some poor life choices, which I immediately regretted. The next morning I realized that if I followed my intuition and decided to "respect thyself and respect the energy of others", this regret would be non-existent.
I am quite intuitive when it comes to my feelings or the feelings of others. Now entering a more spiritually leveled spectrum of my life, I put my best efforts into regarding karma throughout my days. When I see others using the formula of "fight negative with negative (fire with fire) ", I notice that not only doesn't it work, it depletes energy as well. It is impossible to generate negative energy while expressing a self-loving attitude and radiating compassion to all energies and souls around you. I, myself, am training my mind to not immediately react to others negativity but to keep a calm paced mind, to think before a word is spoken, and to use compassion and understanding in all matters. That seems to be the most potent way to increase the stable positive notes.
Even if someone is arguing with us for little to no reason (just because they are in a bad mood) , remember we don't have to fight back. We can easily save the situation by kindly smiling, expressing our disagreement in a non-violent verbal form and then going on happily with our business. Once we do this, we find that our inner spirit is strengthened. I choose to not turn any event into a fight or flight situation. I just focus on the positive outcome and live my life to the fullest. We learn much more this way. A positive situation can always come from this way of being.
Karma, I believe, is involved with the complete learning process of life. Lets face it; we have all at one time or another experienced good or bad karma. Karma being by definition - if we do something good, something good will happen to us, and vice versa. I believe the same. It is proven in many aspects of life that what we send out, we get back in different levels. But, I am not saying that we should go out and do something good just for our own self-centered desire. Do something good because it makes others feel good. Then, as a result, we get the good feelings back to us. "What goes around comes around." Donate some extra clothes to charity; go work in a soup kitchen or help out at a center for the homeless and blessings will flow back to us. Love is a circle.
By changing our outlook or everyday habit of living, we can save ourselves from unnecessary stress and brighten our whole existence. Adding mediation, yoga, different types of artistic expressions, or physical activities can help us feel very much better about our situations and ourselves. I like the aspect of yoga, a calm practice of exercising muscles, bones, joints and even my mind to find a meditate state of being.
At one point in my life, at the end of the summer, I made the conscious decision to completely change my way of living by getting rid of any excess clothing or objects that I own and donate them to charity. Immediately after, I got rid of my iPhone and decided to get a low budget phone that only works for calling / texting. Basically, simplifying my life. I felt so good about myself, there was little to no materialism controlling my mind.
When we take care of our mind, body, soul, and spirit essence we are able to rest easy. I am a vegan, which means I'm strictly a non-animal based diet. I believe it personally helps in transcending to my top level of ascension. Fruits and vegetables, which come from the ground and carry energy just like anything else on this plane of existence, vibrate at a high frequency.
When we eat meat, cheese, artificial additives, or GMOs (genetically modified organisms) , we then vibrate at a low frequency and feel not so good at all. For those who are not familiar with GMOs: GMOs are basically organisms or microorganisms whose genetic material has been altered by means of genetic engineering, which is completely unnatural and terrible for your organs and cells. It has been proven even by scientific research. Best to eat organic food, to feel your top best and to lower any risk of illness / disease. Trust me, I went from a smoking, alcohol drinking, and sugar-crazed diet into a non-smoking, organic, healthy way of living. And I am so grateful for this change. Try it out; it’s worth it.
Thoughts, actions, and words are what define who we are. So, I cannot stress the importance of being mindful of our existence. Everything we do is sent out to the universe and our response is dependent upon us. The universe, along with The Creator, Gods and Goddesses never want to see us suffer. I challenge you to change it all and begin a life of growing completely and activate energies that will aid your ascension into the next steps in your life.
We are all important. We are all breathing in this existence for a reason. Let’s make that reason count. Let’s learn what we can while we are here. If we eat poorly, treat others or our self badly, or think negatively charged thoughts, we can ask for guidance from the higher realms of peace and tranquility and change. Do it at this very moment. I personally can say I have a deep love for all of the humans, animals, plants, air, water, and other living beings on this Earth. We are one.
Once we practice everyday creating a better lifestyle, any stress disappears right in front of our eyes. Practice does make perfect. But we are not yet in a perfect state, just striving and that's why we must pick habits that make us and everyone else feel good! We can either choose a lifestyle of healing or of fear. I chose healing!
Now ask yourself, am I my best self? Do I wake up with no regrets, feeling amazing physically and mentally? Do I treat others and myself correctly? Maybe, maybe not right at this moment... BUT there is always a new moment and we can change the path we are on and create an even better one. Have faith.
In conclusion, please radiate positivity, follow your intuition, smile as much as you can, live naturally, and 'watch your step'.
