Karmic Mechanics

Author: sede

How is it that karma could be described as a mechanical function if it is not manipulable? How could it be that we might see a function without knowing how it could be modified?

Well, I pondered this and thought that there must be more to say, so here I go.

We are magnificent beings of our own design. At our highest level each of us has chosen who and what we are to be. And we chose this path aeons before we ever set foot on this earth.

But in the course of this path each of us has had to know that we would eventually, consciously, choose to become majickal beings. And to that end we would seek to be a member of the Magi or the Wicce. Magi and Wicce do not sit around and just “be” do they? ...that is for the Monks. Magi and Wicce are changers and seekers and reality benders aren’t they? So at some point we all knew that we would arrive at this appointed place and this appointed hour of our own free will and volition. We knew, as we know, that things are made to be changed by those wise enough to change them.

It's natural law that those who can, do. Predators are predators because they have the capacity to be predators. Prey becomes prey in that moment that they run. Prey that does not run becomes a fallen (usually) contender. But the Magi and the Wicce are different aren’t they?

The Wicce and the Magi are the wise ones. Wisdom is a hefty concept to say the least. Wisdom requires that one think with that higher understanding that we covered in KM1. Wisdom requires that we work to the benefit of the One. That we work toward the benefit of that Collective Unconscious, the Brahma, the Great Spirit, the I AM, the Chalice and Blade, the union of being that we all are intimately and essentially a part of.

So comes the conundrum: How do we, with a finite mind, make determinations on an infinite scale? How do we use an animal mentality, driven by hunger and fears, to direct our will into infinite realms? The answer is simple really: we don't.

Instead we learn to think outside of ourselves. We learn how to view our physical selves as an infinitesimally small part of an infinitely expansive existence. We learn how to see that our physical life or death is only a very small part of who we truly are. We see that our birth into the world is simply a continuance of seeds sewn from a single germ of existence. Our genetic code is simply a framework from which the spirit may physically manifest.

We are beings, or rather a Being, who are, is, in the process of growing. We are one entity that is in the process of manifesting into a larger and more powerful conscious awareness. Just like cells work together to create a whole body, we are working together (whether we know it or not) to manifest a massive physical (and metaphysical) entity.

What is a cell really? When it is simplified to its core of meaning it is a long chain of amino acids that indicate the design of a life form. When this chain of amino acids is given access to the correct conditions it begins to form life around it. So get this…. a “non-living” chain of acids is the ultimate foundation for what we may concretely call “life”.

Similarly, our spirit has given rise to our existence. A “hocus-pocus”, unseen, empirically questionable force within our perceptive reality is in actuality the basis for our consciousness. In fact, it is the reality behind how that non-living chain of acids got there in the first place. Just like the DNA strand seems to be using the cell as a vehicle to manifest being, our spirit is using “reality” to manifest being.

When we are in circle and make statements such as “thou art God” and “thou art Goddess”, this is the plain fact of the matter.

So, if you were born without an arm or with a spare head, don't sweat it... seriously. Your body is simply a mind spring from which your spirit may launch... and it would seem that it has launched many times just waiting for you to evolve.

So here you are at the spark of your evolution. This is where it begins. You have awoken and come to the realization of your own majickal root. You have taken your first step into an infinite reality. You look out onto a plane of existence that you cannot see with the eyes you where born with, you instead have to use the eyes that you began with.

I remember when Haan Solo came out of carbonite freezing in the early 80's. He had "hibernation sickness", remember? It's like that. We've been asleep for most of our lives and we have to remember how to open our eyes. We have to remember how to stretch out our arms. We have to essentially remember who we actually are. And this is very necessary. If we are to, as a people, move from one dimension to the next then this is what we need to do.

But, in the now, we have a job ahead. We have to begin to work and exist as the beings that we in fact are. We must learn how to use our ethereal arms. We must begin to understand how to stretch out our fingers and touch the fabric of our reality.

Death has no grip; it is where we go before we are replanted. Life has no grip; it was ours to begin with. Reality has no grip, we have created existence... and we might just do it again. The only thing that matters is that we recognize ourselves in the cosmic mirror. That we look up at the stars and realize that we put ourselves in this place so that we may grow to be more, even, than what we had began as.

Blessings,
