| Universal Consciousness and Manifestation: The Creation of Rayvn Haven

It is always wonderful when the Universal Consciousness manifests amazing gifts that are part of the balance. In July of 2011 at ZenFest in McClouth, Kansas, we were blessed to meet Danette and Matt who were vending Native American and Wiccan goods. Danette was watching our fire Keeper as he prepared the rocks for our Sweat Lodge that was scheduled to begin in late morning on Saturday. She observed how we respected the grandfathers and grandmothers as well as the stone and fire people. She initiated conversation with Will O and later introduced herself to me. She offered us some flat cedar and mountain sage to enhance the experience of all participants in this co-gender lodge.
During the course of the weekend, she decided to join us for Three Gates Gathering that was held in late September of 2011 in the same location. During Three Gates Gathering, she and husband Tim offered us the use of five acres of land that they own in Bland, MO for the Ozarks branch of the Wite Rayvn Metaphysical Church. After conferring with our own elders and spirit, we decided that this might be the place that we were being led. We visited the land in early October and signed the 99-year lease for the land on October 11, 2011. Currently we are working on the grounds and main house that will serve as the base of the Wite Rayvn Metaphysical Church of the Ozarks, the wellness center, and community services organization. We have called it Rayvn Haven. Will O's e-store, RayvnHaven, is currently open. Most of the money from her handcrafted items goes to the funding of the buildings and utilities at the site.
This project came about because the absolute intent of all of our own elders, ourselves, and our dear friends from all over the mid-south, including the Southern Delta Church of Wicca, Temple of the Sacred Gift, and Apple Grove. The lesson that we have learned in this is that when people of like mind all focus the same intent within the Universal Consciousness, then anything is possible. This is very different from the "dream it and you can have it" mentality that some individuals use as they seek to control and manipulate their world. It all starts with INTENT, then CONSENSUS, then DUE DILIGENCE.
What IS intent?
Intent is the focus that one puts on a particular desire. It is done once and left alone. Anything else is manipulation. In physics, we know that opposites attract. It has been my experience that once a desire is "created" through intent, continued focus on it actually brings about the OPPOSITE result. Think about two magnets. If you place the similar poles toward each other, they simply push each other away. This is what happens to our desires when we focus to often on them. Create your intent, then let it manifest, as it will!
It is also important to make sure that you frame your intent while thinking about the consequences of the action before you set it out. In the case of Rayvn Haven, Will O and I had a desire to be closer to the larger mid-south community that we were sharing experiences with. We discussed it with the clergy leadership that we were associated with in the area, and then let things develop. In time, all of the groups felt that we would be a good addition to the overall community and established their own intent toward bringing us closer to the area. This is where our intent and their intent came together to manifest the place. IN THE CORRECT TIME, not on our own timetable.
What is Consensus?
Consensus is when many individuals come together and agree on a particular desire. The Iroquois Nation utilizes the Great Law of Peace to codify consensus among the tribes. A particular want is spoken by one of the tribes in council. Each tribal representative speaks to the tribal representative "next" to him and, when they reach a consensus of opinion, they talk to the next representative and so on until all have reached consensus.
Another type of consensus is an open discussion among all parties until a vote is taken, and as long as the individuals voting all agree either to accept the proposal or say they can "live" with the proposal, then the proposal is granted and work on it begins. Notice that this is different than the representative democratic system of ‘majority rules’. If any individual disagrees with the proposal, then it is not carried out. This means each representative actually has a "veto". In the case of Raven Haven, discussions were held over many months within each group, and by the representatives of the groups when they gathered, until such time as all agreed that having Wite Rayvn in the mid Missouri area was a good idea.
What is Due Diligence?
Due Diligence means that one does not sit back and wait for the universe to "grant" them their desires. Once the intent is created, meditation on the steps one could take to move toward the goal and then walking out those steps after the intent is placed - "out there" is important. If one simply states the intent then waits, where is your energetic investment? In the case of Rayvn Haven there were several steps to be taken before we began the project and more still, once we were in the location. Just a few of the steps included filing paperwork for the church with the State of Missouri, the post office, seeking the building material prices, arranging work weekends, cleaning out the property, harvesting wood, measuring rooms, drawing plans, and much more.
Conclusion
All the desires in the world will not bring one happiness, or what one desires, without placing one’s own energy in an appropriate manner into the desire. No individual in the world is entitled to anything just because he/she may want it. ‘Entitlement’ leads only to disappointment, bitterness, and depression. Taking control of one’s own actions for one’s desires and making sure that what one’s desire is a part of the balance of the universe, is the way to manifest one’s desires.
Bright Blessing!
